St. Benedict Preparatory School is one of nine Chicago schools, one of sixteen Illinois schools, and the only Catholic school in Illinois to be chosen by the State of Illinois to pilot the one-to-one laptop initiative Technology Immersion Pilot Program (TIPP). In its sixth year of implementation, TIPP enables an enhanced learning environment where each sixth, seventh and eighth-grade students receive a tablet PC to use at school and home.
