St. Benedict Preparatory School is one of 12 schools from across the nation to win this award.
We were one of two schools to win for the category of "Restructuring or Merging Schools."
St. Benedict Preparatory School proudly announces that SBPS is one of 12 schools to receive Today's Catholic Teacher "Catholic Schools for Tomorrow Award for Innovations in Education." This award annually honors 12 elementary and secondary schools from across the nation that have led the way by implementing exemplary, innovative programs to improve the teaching and learning of their students, faculty and staffs. Awards will be presented at a special celebration banquet in New Orleans on April 27th during the NCEA (National Catholic Education Association) Convention.
Today's Catholic Teacher and the Peter Li Education Group, along with the judging committee chaired by Sister Angela Ann Zukowski, MHSH, of the University of Dayton, chose our school among hundreds of applications across the nation. Our school has been recognized for the work done over the past year concerning our restructuring efforts.
