The Kindergarten students took a field trip to the Sulzer Regional Library on Thursday. They learned about how to take care of library books, listened to a story read aloud by the librarian, and even received their own library cards! Everyone was excited to check out a book to bring home!
Last week, the students in Room 115 learned all about seeds and plants! We studied the parts of a plant, identified what a plant needs to grow, learned about the life cycle of a plant, sorted living and non living things, and planted our own plants. The students are keeping track of their plants in a "Plant Journal." We are very excited to see what our plants will become by week four! Check out our work below!

I hope you all had a relaxing Easter and got to spend time with your families. Check out the cute Easter craft we made at school below!
I look forward to seeing everyone after Easter Break!
Our class was busy making leprechaun traps today in preparation for St. Patrick's Day. The class used great teamwork to come up with some very clever ideas! Eventhough our traps were great, the sneaky leprechaun got away. He left us with some clues that sent us on a hunt for his pot of gold. Enjoy the pictures below!
Have a Happy St. Patrick's Day!
