First Grade Remembers 9-11

My name is Miss Burke and I am one of the first grade teachers. Some might know me as Miss Kelly from working as a Teacher's Aide in the Preschool last year. I am so excited to be given this amazing opportunity to continue my teaching career at St. Benedict Preparatory School!
I grew up in a small town near Youngstown, Ohio. I attended Catholic Schools from elementary throughout high school. I then continued my catholic education by attending Saint Mary's College where I graduated with my BA degree in Elementary Education.
From the young age of first grade, I knew I had always wanted to become a teacher. Maybe it was from my amazing experience in the classroom with my first grade teacher when I knew this was my ideal grade to teach! I am hoping to give your child that same amazing experience this school year.
