Johmel Weekly Report

Math: This week we finished up Unit 11 in math, which was on volume.  The homework was a little hard, a little easy.

L.A.: I thought the hardest word to spell was restaurant. While I was writing this I spelled it wrong.

Religion: This week we are learning about the human body!

Mrs. Grabe’s students showed us a play about the gods and goddesses. It was really funny. I wish I could see it again.

Portfolio night is May 10th! Please come join us! Can’t wait to see you there!!!

Ethan E. WEEKLY REPORT

Spelling: The spelling pattern was synonyms and antonyms. The hardest word to spell was lengthen.

Reading: We are reading poetry since April is poetry month. The reading strategy we have been working on retelling.

Religion: During mass on Wednesday we learned that it was St. Mark’s Feast Day. In Religion class we are learning about our feelings.   

Math: We started a new unit in Math today. We are now learning about measurements. In our homework we are working on estimating weight.

Social Studies: In Social Studies we are learning about the West.

Science: In Science we have been learning about different states of matter.

We also want to say CONGRATULATIONS to Mrs. Gentile and her new baby girl!!!!

John WEEKLY REPORT

I’m reading Hatchet by Gary Paulson. In reading we’re working on wondering and then making new questions.

In math we’re working on reflections & lines of symetery are homework is drawing reflections.

The spelling pattern is suffixes –ous, -ic, -ish, -ant. I think the hardest word is adventurous.

In religion we’re learning about rules & why to obey them.

In science we’re learning about water & how much we use.

In S.S. we’re learning about the west.

Dec. 2 Weekly Report Kendall

HELLO fourth graders,

 

We are reading realistic stories and we are learning how to make them and what you should put in them like a real setting, real people, a real problem , and a real solution.

In math we are working on partial products we had a timed test on Thursday.

Our spelling pattern this week was /oi/ and /ou/  the two hardest words where mountain and moisture.

We did our first reconciliation in 8 months.

We are learning about the southeast in social studies and we are learning about invertebrates in science.
